I was born in
Anchorage, Alaska into an Air Force family and grew up in Texas,
Spain, California, Arkansas, Oregon, Colorado, graduating from
high school in 1965 in Pocagontas, Arizona. I attended the
U.S. Air Force Academy, Oregon State, Arkansas State, Memphis
State, Williams College, University of Texas-Austin, and
received a degree in Aviation Management from Mary Hardin-Baylor
University. I hold Bachelor and Associate degrees, many
additional hours in Engineering, Psychology, Business and
I am also a commercially-licensed pilot with SMEL/S ratings.
I worked for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller and Supervisor
from 1975 until I retired in 2001. In my spare time, I
build and work on computers, hunt, fish, garden, fly, ride
horses, write, read, and worship Christ, the Savior of Mankind,
at my local church. Alas, I had to give up basketball;
getting too old.
I have always had a conservative mind, even in high school, but
did not become particularly active until the early 80's. I
was once a member of the National GOP Senate Campaign Counselors
but became disgusted with the continued liberality of even the
GOP in the 80's and 90's and now am a member of the
Conservative Union, which is a good deal more closely aligned
with true political conservatism. I write an occasional column
for several publications, including one of my local papers, as
well as magazine articles. I have extensively researched
and written about the perversion called homosexuality, the
media's love for all things perverted, and the incredible misuse
of our tax dollars as well as the continual misuse of power and
of our Constitution by the Judiciary.
I live, appropriately, in the Branson area of the "Show Me"
State of Missouri, America's favorite music city and hometown.
