Jeff Adams was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, but was raised in Savannah, Georgia.  Jeff went off to college to play football (University of Memphis), but ended up getting an engineering degree along the way.  After spending time as an officer in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot and acquisitions officer, Jeff entered civilian life as a project manager.  He currently works as an industrial engineer in Houston, Texas.  Jeff also holds a Master's degree from Troy State University (Troy, Alabama).

Like many people, Jeff became serious about political involvement once he and his wife started having children.  The desire to not only leave behind descendants who were good, decent people of high moral character, but also to leave his kids a world not hostile to the traditional values of the American landscape drove Jeff to be involved in issue-oriented politics.

Besides being a Sunday school teacher for high school kids at the Southern Baptist church he attends, Jeff is the
State Director of Education for the Texas chapter of the League of the South.  Jeff's emphasis for the League of the South in Texas is on educational issues and promoting better knowledge of Southern history and traditional values concerning faith, family and the liberties the founders bequeathed us.  One site Jeff promotes in this endeavor is www.knowsouthernhistory.net.  Jeff labels himself a "Southern Traditionalist" on issues concerning the Constitution, State's Rights, the role of government, and social and moral issues.

Jeff writes the weekly column
"The Southern Traditionalist" for America's Voices, and is also published on other popular webzines, including Sierra Times and The Patriotist.  He is a regular contributor to a hard copy magazine called "East Texas Today", and occasionally his material is posted on Dixie Daily News.  You can contact Jeff at jadams@americasvoices.org.
