Introduction

Which do you think has killed more human beings the war against unborn Americans since 1973, or all the military personnel and civilians killed of all nations involved in World War II?

The answer is not World War II.  With approximately 36 million killed, World War II is known as "The Good War" to Americans who fought it and who lost 300,000 sons and daughters.  It is called "The Good War" because it was fought for a truly noble purpose to preserve our freedom.  What then shall we call the war against our unborn, with 40 million killed to date?

Abortion is an immensely charged issue, one tinged with a heavy dose of morality, legal obfuscation, and selfish agenda.  It is the single most divisive and polarizing issue in America, with emotions simmering just below the level of outright violence between those who condone it, and those who do not.

The perpetuation of abortion has created the same potential for civil war as the institution of slavery created tensions contributing directly to the Civil War.  Government, abetting immoral behavior, is directly to blame for this tension.

Note from the Publisher & Editor

The publisher and editor believe it would be a disservice to the author and to the integrity of this essay to present it in parts over several days or a week, so it is presented fully here in 6 sections so that you may read it entirely in one sitting, or over a period of days, according to your schedule, attention span, or inclination.

Michael A. Wallace is a registered Republican, a former Eagle Scout, a Lifetime Member of the National Rifle Association, a strong believer in Second Amendment rights, a retired Marine officer, and a pro-life advocate - all things liberals seem to dislike.  In addition to his affiliation with America's Voices, Mike is a founding member of ConservaVets, a conservative veteran's organization (which has since become Rally4America).  Mike uses thorough constitutional and historical research to analyze and explain key moral and political issues of the day.  He particularly enjoys debunking the myths and lies perpetrated by the many liberal groups who claim to speak for most Americans and by those who misrepresent Constitutional principles to further their own agendas.  E-mail Mike at mwallace@americasvoices.org.
